Bespoke Travel Company is looking for a super-organized individual to take on the role of Trip Booking Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a graduate looking for a job in a small but growing international company, speak good English and will be looking for experience in the travel industry. The position is perfect for someone who is reliable, brilliant with detail and enjoys helping others. It’s particularly suitable for someone looking to gain experience and grow into a more senior role within the company over time.

The Trip Booking Assistant will be keen to help foreign visitors make the most of their time in China through carefully arranged itineraries designed by Bespoke’s Trip Designers and will ideally know Beijing, Shanghai and Xi’an relatively well. The ideal Trip Booking Assistant will also be an excellent communicator, energetic, self-motivated, organized, and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • To work closely with Bespoke’s Trip Designers to deliver customer trips
  • To work with Bespoke’s suppliers, ensuring they carry out their responsibilities on trips with our VIP clients
  • To generate accurate booking forms for Bespoke’s Chinese tour guides, car company partners and foreign experts.
  • To assist in monitoring suppliers to ensure they are maintaining the highest level of service and source new suppliers where necessary/appropriate
  • To generate accurate invoices to send to Bespoke’s clients for payment of services
  • Monitor client payments and keep a clear record of incoming funds and accounts payable to suppliers.
  • To produce attractive itineraries in Adobe InDesign (no prior experience required: training provided).

Requirements

  • The candidate should have exceptional organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented.
  • The candidate will ideally have some accounting or admin experience (whether in a personal or professional capacity)
  • The candidate will preferably have a degree in tourism, English or a similar subject
  • The candidate should be a native Chinese speaker with a high level of spoken and written English.
  • The candidate will be comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility for the sound running of Bespoke’s tours in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi’an.

Bespoke is looking for an experienced, super-organized individual to take on the role of In-House Accountant / Office Manager

The ideal candidate will be looking for a stable job in a small but growing company, speak English and have experience in accounting and finance. This position is perfect for someone who is reliable, great with numbers, brilliant with admin and will enjoy being part a fast moving, imaginative team..

Responsibilities

    • Managing Bespoke’s customer bookings, including generating invoices, tracking incoming and outgoing payments.
    • Managing monthly staff salary and supplier payments
    • Keeping a regular and accurate record of company finances
    • Generating financial projections and managing cashflow
    • Maximising profits and minimising cash lost through exchange rate conversions etc.Coordinate media events and other opportunities designed to generate media exposure.
    • Other general admin in your role as Office Manager.

 

Requirements

  • The candidate should have exceptional organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented.
  • The candidate should be qualified (have their accounting certificate) and at least 2 years’ experience.
  • The candidate will preferably have experience working for a wholly owned foreign enterprise (WFOE)
  • Be results oriented with solid analytical skills.
  • The candidate should be a native Chinese speaker with a high level of spoken and written English..
  • The candidate will be comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility for the sound running of the office and the management of the company’s finances overall.
  • Travel industry and/or luxury experience also a plus.
